Heyy.. stop... don't skip this blog if you are non technical person and not interested in any frameworks! What I am going to talk now is about a universal frame work!!
One of my favorite activity is going for a walk after dinner. Again, lot of musings during walking. :)
Another thing which makes our walking pleasant is our layout. I simply love S.T.Bed layout in Koramangala. Broad concreted roads, beautiful parks and well lit streets makes walking pleasant. Only threat is stray dogs.. but I have found a work around.. I have got a long stick which I carry while walking.
The other day we started our stroll after dinner. As usual me and my brother exchanged comments about our neighboring pg gals. He got a call from his dad and started over the phone.
I was enjoying the chill breeze and overhearing the one side conversation.
my brother: "what? hahaha is he an investment banker?"
otherside: ". ....."
I was thinking his dad(don't mistake.. my brother means my cousin brother) might have found an investment banker's daughter.
him: "I would have thought about my future more than him.. "
otherside: "............................................
...................................."
him:"My intelligence only is my asset.. as if we have more money to invest"
otherside"...................."
the conversation ended.
my brother: "dad has asked some astro guy about me buying a car.. bullshit.. he also asked me about my business and that guy asked not to make any monetary investments but only intelligence.. "
me gigling: "that's a very safe statement he has made!!"
him: "as if he is more responsible for my future than me.."
me: "see.. for that astro guy, its a business.. he wants to say exactly the same what your dad wants to hear! and that's how he makes money"
him: "All these people make money over others weakness"
me: "I dont undersatnd this concept.. If one believes in God, it means that ones future is decided when he or she is born. Everything is written by Brahma on one's forehead. Then what is the point in trying to avoid a bad thing happening in life? Its God's Frame work where everything is written and pre-decided!"
him: "no DuDamma.. that's where you are thinking is wrong.."
I looked at him to hear more.
he continued:"God has written a Framework which is full of 'if...else" and "while" loops and switch statements. Its upto the individual to choose which branch he takes and which decision he makes to go forward in life.."
me as usual excited about the new idea and a bright smile on my face: "interesting and makes sense!"
him:" God says, 'see I have given you the framework. I have given you the ability to think. You choose the path you want to grow'. So God is only responsible for the framework but its the individual who will make his or her own life."
after a pause..
him: "also.. decision making depends on which loop one has taken, current position, prior experience and his upbringing. What is the fun if God derives everything himself!! After giving the framework, he sits back and has fun seeing you cracking the code of life!"
Me, almost jumping: "DuDu.. you are a genius.."
one stray dog stood up with Grrr sound. I just flashed my long stick and it sat down.
him: "So, in initial years of one's life, parents will be choosing the if..else statements and if they go wrong fundamentally, its not the individual's mistake but the parents. After one grows up and if he or she still wants to give the option of choosing the branches to his/her dad, again any success or failure he himself is responsible for granting the rights to choose the branch to his/her dad"
me: "Its like, see son.. I have selected a girl for you and you marry her and life will be good.. He marries her and life screwed up.. "
him: "yes.. so that's his mistake and not his dad..! Its all about how you read your framework and make decisions.. Howz that?"
me: "amazing DuDu.."
another stray dog seeing my stick started wagging his tail.
I said.."ok ok.. I have seen you wagging your tail.. we are friends.. dont worry.. I will not beat you.."
and by the by GUF Framework stands for 'God's Unique ForeHead Framework'!.

the new catse system derived!
It was a light day @ office and I came home little early as there was not much work. Granny had prepared delicious 'Nugge Kai huLi' for lunch and few pieces of drum sticks were still left for us!
Myself and my brother decided to have an early dinner for our standards, i.e. 9pm. Now that we have a nice rose wood colored though rubber wood dining table, it adds a color for our talk!
As we started our dinner, the conversation started with my matrimonial search. I feel the first and foremost problem in searching for a partner is CASTE! You limit yourself to your caste and miss more likely minded /more suitable partner.
All of a sudden I asked my brother,
"DuDu.. (kananda form for Dude!) Can I refuse to identify myself with my caste?"
He: "DuDamma (Kannada form for duddette) Tell me, officially where you identify yourself with your caste? Which application form asks you for caste? PAN Card? Passport? Voters Id?.. (after a pause) Everywhere your religion is asked but not your caste..Only in your social network caste is asked.."
I was trying to think in which application caste was asked and I could not recall any.
Me: "hmm... ya.. but when kids are enrolled to school, dont they ask?"
He: "Usually not unless the school prefers the students to be from the same caste as that of the owner of the school"
Me: "That would be stupid..!"
Again.. after a pause..
"See.. how does caste matter when I get married? See that guy whom I met the other day.. He is from a different profession.. I struggled to strike a conversation with him! We had no common interests to talk about.. Atleast if in the same profession, some how conversation will start.."
He: "That's where your talent in talking comes..."
Me: "But see.. actually caste system has changed now.. People in the same profession to be considered as people from same caste.. ! Actually if you see the olden caste system as per hindu scriptures, the caste system was divided based on their professions. All the priests, teachers and scholars were called Brahmins, Traders as Vaishyas, Warriors as Khyatriyas and service providers as shudras"
He: "You are righto.. And thats why they wanted to get a son-in-law or daughter-in-law from their own caste so that getting alone with each other and respective families is easy.. "
Me: "Exactly... but over the years, our elders have totally mistook the caste system and started blindly following it and have put us in trouble..!"
He: " yeah.. just imagine, how many Bangalore software engineer bride or groom would like to get married to a school teacher in Bidar? forget that.. atleast how many doctors will marry engineers? "
Me: "Most of them would prefer partners from similar profession.. and its not only profession.. but upbringing also.. "
He: "yes.. so the modern caste system would be divided into many categories like Software Engineers, Doctors, Architects, Media and Advertising, Teachers and Professors etc.."
Me: "hmm yaa... (excited with the new thought process..) So there is no more caste like brahmin or shudra now.. only its software professional or media or teacher... (little disappointed) but why the hell these elders don't understand this concept.."
He:"its a long way DuDamma.. you cant change this in over night"
Me: "I think atleast this will not be there in future generations.. "
Granny has stopped watching TV and watching us unable to understand whats going on... Frustrated with the miming (because she is hard of hearing) left the Hall.
